Abstract: The purpose of this investigation is to find out the difference on the students’ knowledge level about the public health principles based on the students status, and to seek for the relationships between the knowledge about the public health principles with students’ attitude and behavior towards the health environment.

This investigation is held at Health Analyst Academy of Bakti Tunas Husada, Tasikmalaya. The method used in this investigation is Survey Method which is aimed to find out or to obtain the information about the relationships between the variables, namely the independent variable (X1 = the students’ status, X2 = the knowledge about the Public Health Principles) and the dependent variables (Y1 = the students’ attitude towards the Health Environment, Y2 = the students’ behavior in the Health Environment). The amount of the overall samples are 90 respondents taken by the proportionally stratified random sampling technique. The measurement technique used in this investigation is to test the students’ knowledge in order to find out their knowledge about the Public Health Principles, and the attitude test is executed to obtain the students’ attitude towards the health environment, and conduct the behavior test to obtain the students’ behavior in the health environment. The analysis technique used this investigation is the regression techniques and simplified correlation.

The investigation result shows that there is the difference in the students knowledge level about the public health principles based on the student’ status with the value of F Count as much 15.034 whereas F Table on the significant range of 5% with db (2,87) as much 4,103 and there is a positive relationship between the students’ knowledge level about the public health principles with the student’ attitude towards the health environment viewed from the student’ status with the correlative coefficient r = 0,800 on the significant range 5%, and there is a positive relationship between the students’ knowledge level about the public health principles with the students’ behavior in the health environment viewed from the students’ status with the correlative coefficient r = 0,801 on the significant range 5%.

Thus, it can generally be concluded that there are the differences on the knowledge level about the Public Health Principles among the students in the first, second and the third grades, and the higher the students’ knowledge level about Public Health Principles, the higher students’ attitude and behavior towards the health environment.
